Managing Your JournalChatter Profile

How do I  view my JournalChatter Profile?  Your member profile is accessible, once you are logged in, by the link displayed on the top banner as YourUserName Member Profile.  Clicking on this link will take you to your member profile information.


Understanding your Profile Options
  • Display Name: This is the name displayed on the JournalChatter website.  It is used to author your journal entries and as the link to your message board.

  • Age: This field is used to verify that you are over 18 and allowed access to the JournalChatter website.

  • First and Last Name:  Your name.

  • Email: Your email address is used for JournalChatter to communicate to you. You will receive emails when a JournalChatter community member requests to post a message to your message board.  You can also subscribe to the following Email options detailed here.

  • Email Option Comments added to my Journal Entries: This email option, when selected, will send you an email when someone posts a comment to one of your journal entries.  If this option is turned off, you will not receive this email.

  • Email Option New Journal Entries Posted: This email option, when selected, will  send you an email when someone posts a new entry to the JournalChatter website. If this option is turned off, you will not receive this email.

  • Email Option New Messages Posted to my Message Board: This email option, when selected, will send you an email when someone posts a new message to your message board.  If this option is turned off, you will not receive this email.

  • Email Option Subscribe to JournalChatter newsletters When this email option is selected, you will receive periodic newsletters from the JournalChatter web community.  If this option is turned off, you will not receive the newsletters.
