Our Guidelines
As a general rule, no advertisements are allowed within your
JournalChatter
space - this includes your journals, as well as personal comments and messages to
other members. If you want to promote a website, please let us know by sending an
email to Voices@JournalChatter.com. Resources that we feel can help our community
are welcome and will be displayed on our Resources link (this is a future enhancement
and will be available soon).
Please respect our
JournalChatter members right to privacy.
Understand each writer provides the details she wants known publicly: in other words,
the information provided is what the writer wants you to know.
Do not assume you know the writer simply by reading her blog.
Each writer has every right to stop writing at any time, without explanation or reason to this community.
Remember, this is an expressive outlet to the writers. Because of the nature of this site, we look forward to reading opinions different than our own.
We expect the readers to respect these differing points of view whether they agree or disagree
with the expressed viewpoint.
If a writer offends you in any way, then you have the right to no longer read her journal.
If the text is grossly offensive,
you may report the issue to the website administrator using the
Report This
link after each journal entry display. The
JournalChatter
administrator will decide on any further action to resolve the issue.
In the same vein, commenters and writers must be respectful of this community.
Hateful, harassing, or libelous speech will not be tolerated.
JournalChatter
reserves the right to define what is unacceptable speech and will remove any content
deemed unacceptable.
Lastly, copyright is protected by law, whether expressly stated or not.
Each author owns the rights of their own words. We welcome all respectful dialogue as an avenue to increasing our understanding of our community of women who participate
in
JournalChatter.
